Web streaming instructions

To view the ELAC video streaming live on May 30th, 2008 at 5:30 please follow the steps provided below. Note this option will be available on May 30th, 2008 at 5:30.
  1. Click on the link above.
  2. This will send you to the ELAC Commencement Webcast website. Under Featured  Channels, Commencement 2008 will be there, go ahead and click on that link.
  3. That will direct you to the Channel Details page, on that page you will click on the ELAC 2008 Commencement Live link.  
  4. On the right hand side there is a “View Program” link. Go ahead and click on that link.  Another Window should appear and you will able see the streaming of the video.

Welcome to East Los Angeles College. We are proud to announce our live web broadcasting of the 2008 Commencement ceremony held on Friday May 30th, 2008.

This offers an opportunity for family and friends of graduating students who cannot attend the commencement ceremony to view this videotaped broadcast by going to http://imedia.elac.edu. Family and friends from all over the world will be able to view this year’s commencement LIVE by going to the website address above. This web broadcast will run concurrently with the commencement ceremony.  Please note the disclaimer regarding the web broadcasting of the commencement. Which reads as follows:

This event is being videotaped for broadcast on the World Wide Web.  By attending or participating in this event, you are giving your consent to be videotaped and waiving any and all claims regarding the use of your image by the Los Angeles Community College District/East Los Angeles College.


To view this web broadcasting your computer needs to have Internet  Explorer  5.5  or higher and Windows Media  Player  Release  9.0 or higher.
